The Chief of Staff serves as the operational and clinical anchor of the hospital, balancing the dual mandate of delivering world-class veterinary care and driving business performance. This role is designed to advocate for pets and their quality of life while fostering long-term, trusting relationships with clients. By partnering with the Practice Manager and Medical Director, the Chief of Staff ensures a safe, engaging environment where the veterinary medical team can thrive.
The position requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and leadership acumen. On average, the role splits time between 70-80% hands-on veterinary duties and 20-30% leadership responsibilities. This is a pivotal role for those passionate about improving the human-pet bond while managing the strategic growth of the hospital.
