About the Role

We are looking for you to join our Sentinel Mission Defense Team as a Chief Engineer - Cyber Systems Engineering based out of Roy, UT. As a Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation.

Using industry Systems Engineering best practices, Model-based Engineering, and Agile practices, we continue to evolve how we deliver critical national defense products and capabilities for the warfighter. Our success is grounded in our ability to embrace change, move quickly, and continuously drive innovation. The successful candidate will be influential, collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on enabling top-tier Cyber Systems Engineering execution across multiple life-cycle phases of the Sentinel program.

In this role, you will demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities, with the ability to technically lead in a team environment and collaborate across the organization and multiple core stakeholders. Strong executive presence, the ability to effectively influence internal and external customers, and significant gravitas are foundational to success in this role. You will provide Cyber Systems Engineering direction to our team and be accountable for the planning and execution of Cybersecurity Systems Engineering efforts for complex software and hardware airborne vehicle and ground systems.

Nice to Have

A current/active DoD Top Secret clearance. Briefed to the Sentinel program. Expertise with all aspects of Systems Security Engineering as defined in NIST SP 800-160. Experience with DoD Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) systems. Experience with High Assurance design and engineering efforts. Expertise with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and related tools such as DOORS, Cameo, etc. Expertise with containerized software systems in accordance with DoD DevSecOps Reference Design and a demonstrated ability to manage and direct efforts following an Agile and DevSecOps process model. Experience developing basis of estimate for bidding new work scope, developing Statements of Work, and a track record of successfully analyzing, estimating, and implementing solutions to complex problems spanning multiple engineering disciplines. Experience innovating in Cybersecurity Accreditation processes and procedures in a multi-certification (Cyber, Nuclear Surety, etc.) context as part of a Digital Engineering Environment.
