As a Chef de Cuisine, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to supervise and coordinate activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel. You will participate in planning menus, preparing and portioning food, and controlling costs. This role involves purchasing ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment, as well as supervising cooks to ensure quality and adherence to preparation and appearance standards. Additionally, you will oversee stewarding to ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, and manage workers engaged in the inventory, storage, and distribution of food and supplies.
