6 West, Post-Operative Bariatric, is a specialized 24-bed unit dedicated to caring for patients recovering from weight loss surgery, with a primary focus on Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy procedures. This position serves as a vital leadership hub within the 6 West unit, coordinating staffing and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing daily patient care needs, developing appropriate care assignments, and monitoring the effectiveness of treatments to achieve desired outcomes. The role involves assigning, directing, and educating nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, as well as managing performance evaluations and addressing patient care complaints through established channels. This is a Full Time Nights position (7pm - 7am) with 3-12 hour shifts per week, offering a schedule with no weekends.
