About the Role
This opportunity places a Registered Nurse within the Operating Room at Adventist Health in Clearlake, CA. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum, from adolescents to geriatric adults. You will supervise and coordinate care planning with other disciplines, functioning as a scrub, circulating, or float nurse as assigned.
In this role, you will maintain a professional and dignified atmosphere within the unit while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities include participating in site identification and time-outs for each case, ensuring optimal physical and emotional environments for patients, and rotating assignments to PACU, Outpatient Endoscopy, and Central Service as needed. You will also share call duty as required and actively contribute to performance improvement, safety, and infection control initiatives.
Hiring Process
