Our Vascular Cardiac Unit is seeking a skilled Charge RN ready to grow into a leadership role. This position serves as a vital part of the management and leadership team, working under the direction of the Nursing Director alongside the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager.
In this fast-paced setting, you will provide clinical and operational shift supervision for a specialized Vascular Progressive Care Unit. The unit is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing cardiothoracic and vascular procedures, including surgical interventions. Currently a 24-bed unit with plans to expand to 36 beds across two units, the environment requires 24-hour complex care and continuous cardiac monitoring. While the primary focus is on shift supervision, patient flow, quality processes, and unit staff direction, you may also provide direct patient care.
