About the Role
As part of our Associate Travel Program (ATP) in Surgical Services, you will serve as a vital link in the operating room, providing expert support across diverse specialties at multiple Ascension facilities. This role exists to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency by anticipating surgeon needs and maintaining rigorous sterile standards.
In this position, you will navigate various local and national travel options depending on facility needs. Your day-to-day involves scrubbing for complex procedures, establishing sterile fields to prevent infections, performing meticulous surgical counts, and leading "Time-Out" protocols. You will prepare specialized equipment and implants tailored to specific procedural requirements, working across multiple shifts in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
