As part of the Associate Travel Program in Surgical Services, you will serve across multiple Ascension acute care hospitals. This role offers flexible local and national travel options dependent on need, with schedules ranging from 36 to 40 hours per week across multiple shifts.
In this position, you will be the expert scrub professional for high-acuity cases, including open-heart, vascular, thoracic, and emergency aortic dissections. You will meticulously manage delicate cardiovascular tools, pledgeted sutures, and vascular grafts within a fast-paced environment. Your ability to anticipate critical needs during cardiopulmonary bypass cannulation and time-sensitive hemodynamic maneuvers will be vital to patient safety. Additionally, you will proficiently operate specialized equipment such as cell savers, valvulotomes, and intraoperative ultrasound probes.
