About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join our exceptional team committed to "something better." In this role, you will assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring the operating suite is adequately prepared. You will monitor par levels of surgical instruments and supplies, and manage the cleaning and sterilization of all equipment.
Your day will involve creating and maintaining sterile fields, performing sponge and instrument counts, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments or retracting as required. You will serve a patient population predominately of adults (18+), though you will occasionally care for adolescents, pediatrics, and infants. This position also includes participating in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and assisting with the training of new surgical staff.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School graduate or G.E.D.
- verifiedCertification as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA, NCCT, or US Military program
- verifiedAHA BLS Certification
- verifiedMinimum of 1 year of experience in the OR in the scrub tech role
- verifiedAble to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
