About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Certified Surgical Technologist for an immediate 3+ month contract position in Atlanta, GA. This onsite role offers long-term potential within a high-impact, trauma-focused operating room environment. The position is ideal for candidates seeking dynamic experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting where they can handle complex and emergency surgical cases.
The Role
As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, preparing and maintaining sterile surgical environments and assisting surgeons during operative procedures. Your day-to-day responsibilities include anticipating team needs, ensuring proper instrumentation, and supporting efficient turnover between cases. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to uphold strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards.
This role requires flexibility, as the schedule involves 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM) with no block scheduling. Candidates must be comfortable with call requirements, as well as coverage for weekends and holidays.
