An academic healthcare organization in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a growing academic group. This position offers a unique opportunity to be treated as MD faculty within an inclusive environment. You will work a 40-hour week with a flexible schedule, where shift times are variable and negotiable. The current staff works a mix of 10-hour, 13-hour, and 16-hour shifts, with weekends being optional.
You will manage diverse cases including spinal, epidural, central lines, trauma, and OR recovery, while covering multiple site locations such as a waterfront surgical center and an eye center. The role features excellent medical direction and a highly collaborative care team model. A key component of the position is the opportunity to mentor SRNAs clinically and other learners in the OR within a high-acuity learning environment that fosters future growth opportunities.
