At Avera St Anthony's Hospital, we are a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and a shared goal: Moving Health Forward for our patients and our community. We believe that work should matter, and we foster an environment where every team member is valued. Our culture is defined by the CARE standards—Communication, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Engagement—applied with enthusiasm and sincerity to serve patients, families, and the broader community.
This position offers a unique opportunity to care for patients across the entire lifespan and at all acuity levels. You will serve in a variety of settings, including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures. The role is designed for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who thrives in a collaborative environment, providing comprehensive anesthesia care from pre-operative assessment through post-operative follow-up.
The schedule follows a distinctive 2 weeks on, 1 week off rotation, featuring rotating days, evenings, nights, and weekends. During your two-week shift, you will manage 24-hour call responsibilities split between specific days, with call duties shared equally among a group of three CRNAs. This structure supports a dynamic workflow while allowing for dedicated recovery time.
As a CRNA at Avera, you will not only perform essential clinical duties but also serve as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students, helping to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. You will be part of a culture that promotes compassion, hospitality, and stewardship, ensuring that every interaction reflects our core values. Whether you are establishing venous access, managing airways, or providing neuraxial and regional anesthesia, your work directly impacts patient outcomes and the quality of care delivered.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to applying Avera's mission and vision daily. If you are ready to work where you matter and contribute to a team dedicated to moving health forward, we invite you to apply.
