About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will serve as a vital frontline caregiver, providing hands-on assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Your day will involve supporting safe transfers and mobility, measuring vital signs, and assisting with meal preparation and nutrition. Beyond clinical tasks, you will offer companionship and emotional support to promote community inclusion.
You will collaborate closely with nurses, clinical staff, therapists, and families to follow individualized care plans and behavior support strategies. This role requires you to monitor condition changes, maintain a clean and safe environment, and respond calmly to emergencies or behavioral escalations using trauma-informed care principles. Through ongoing training and professional development, you will advance your skills while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.
