Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and feeding
- check_circleMeasure and record vital signs, monitor intake and output, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- check_circleAssist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper body mechanics and lift equipment
- check_circleSupport restorative and rehabilitation programs by helping residents with mobility exercises and range of motion activities
- check_circleMaintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment following infection control and safety standards
- check_circleAccurately document care provided, observations, and resident responses in electronic or paper health records
- check_circleRespond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident requests ensuring timely attention to needs
- check_circleCollaborate with nurses and therapists to support individualized care plans and contribute to quality improvement
- check_circleProvide emotional support and respectful communication to residents and their families to promote comfort and trust
- check_circleParticipate in required in-service training, competency checks, and ongoing education to maintain clinical skills
Requirements
