About the Role
This position is vital to maintaining the highest level of independent function for our residents. You will serve as a key member of the care team, providing direct, personal care that addresses the physical, social, and spiritual needs of residents in our skilled nursing facility. Your day-to-day impact involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, from bathing and dressing to feeding and ambulation. You will also monitor vital signs, document patient status, and assist with restorative exercises, ensuring that every interaction contributes to a safe, clean, and supportive environment. This role requires a keen eye for changes in patient conditions and a commitment to upholding resident rights, including confidentiality and privacy.
Work Schedule & Compensation
This is a regular position located at Avera Brady Health and Rehab. The role operates on the afternoon shift with flexible start times of 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, or 6:00 PM, ending at 10:30 PM. Schedules typically cover 24 hours over a two-week period. A shift differential of $3 is available for hours worked between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM, with an additional $2 differential for weekend hours.
