We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. In this position, you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings. You will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate efficient, patient-centered perioperative care.
Your day will involve conducting comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations, developing individualized anesthesia plans, and managing airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic status throughout procedures. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and families about anesthesia plans and risks, while actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and morbidity and mortality reviews. Interested candidates must hold a current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification, an unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure as required by North Carolina. Additional certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe. Eligibility for credentialing and privileging within Cone Health is also necessary.
