As a Medical Assistant, you will serve as a vital link between patients and providers, ensuring a seamless and compassionate clinical experience. In this role, you will assist in providing direct clinical care as delegated by supervising providers, managing the daily flow of patients to maximize clinical time and efficiency.
Your day will involve greeting and escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, and accurately documenting clinical information in the electronic health record. You will also prepare and maintain exam rooms, manage inventory, and assist clinicians with procedures and tests. Beyond clinical duties, you will provide essential clerical support, including scheduling, patient registration, and handling incoming records.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment where you can take initiative to stay current with community resources and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care quality. There is also the potential to float to other MACC practices as required, offering variety and flexibility in your workday.
