The Certified Medical Assistant – Clinical Coordinator I works interdependently with other medical professionals to provide quality health care to a high volume of patients. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and treat patients in the office under the direction of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, or supervising clinical managers. You will serve as a vital link in the daily clinic, assisting providers during routine checkups and physical exams while ensuring a safe and effective environment for all patients.
This position is based at our Greenville location and operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role is available as Full-Time, Part-Time, Temporary, or PRN. While weekend work is rare, it may occasionally be necessary. Overtime may be required to ensure patients are cared for, tasks are completed, and calls are returned in a timely manner. The position involves frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medicinal preparations common to a clinic environment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited associate degree Medical Assistant program and hold current certification through AAMA, NHA, RMA, or a similar organization. Prior healthcare giver experience is required. If not certified at the time of employment, you will have 90 days to complete certification or employment will be terminated.
