We are seeking a compassionate, patient-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our Digestive Center team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the clinical workflow, ensuring safe and effective patient care through precise execution of medical procedures. Your day will involve rooming patients, recording vital signs, administering injections, and performing venipuncture, urinalysis, and EKG testing. You will also be responsible for setting up and cleaning procedure rooms, properly discarding biohazard and sharps waste, and managing supply inventory.
Success in this position requires a strong grasp of aseptic technique, standard precautions, and basic pharmacology. You will demonstrate proficiency in specimen processing, including the proper order of draw, while maintaining clear verbal and written communication to meet documentation standards.
