At EverTrue, team members at all levels find their calling in our mission of Older Adults Living Life to the Fullest. We foster a work environment where every team member is part of a supportive community, appreciated daily by the residents and coworkers they serve.
As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will be a vital part of our interdisciplinary team, providing medication administration and supportive care to residents under the direction of nursing staff. Your role is centered on "Person Centered Care," focusing on maintaining the resident as the director of their own care. You will collaborate closely with the team to ensure residents receive functional care that meets their daily needs while preserving their dignity.
In this position, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, assisting with activities of daily living, mealtimes, and therapies. You will observe residents closely to identify changing conditions, document vital signs, and actively participate in care plans designed to improve the quality of life for those in our community. You will also serve as a safety advocate, adhering to strict privacy standards (HIPAA) and reporting any hazardous conditions or incidents immediately.
Candidates must possess a current CMT certification in the state of practice, a high-school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certification. Those working in Pennsylvania must also complete the Personal Care DHS Medication Administration Course. Prior experience in direct care is preferred.
EverTrue is committed to creating an inclusive environment where team members are valued regardless of their background. We strive to support individuals with disabilities through reasonable accommodations to perform essential job duties.
