About the Role
We are seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, CMTs, and DSPs to join our team in Harford and Cecil Counties. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in direct patient care, providing essential nonprofessional nursing duties under the supervision of an RN or LPN. Whether you are a certified professional or an uncertified caregiver eager to learn, we welcome your dedication to improving the quality of life for our patients.
Day in the Life
In this position, you will be the vital link between medical professionals and patients in their homes. Your day involves preparing patients and equipment for procedures, obtaining and recording vital data, and administering personal care such as feeding, bathing, and grooming. You will assist with mobility, skin care, and elimination needs, ensuring patients remain comfortable and dignified.
Beyond direct care, you will support patients' daily lives by managing transportation to appointments, running errands, planning meals, and handling light housekeeping tasks like laundry and grocery shopping. You may also assist with physical examinations, perform finger sticks for glucose testing, and collect patient specimens. Your keen observation is crucial; you will monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the supervising nurse.
Locations and Schedule
We have immediate openings in Aberdeen, Edgewood, Belair, and White Marsh, MD. We offer flexible Full-Time and Part-Time schedules to accommodate your availability, including morning and afternoon shifts across weekdays and Saturdays.
Hiring Process
We welcome uncertified caregivers, though prior experience is preferred for CNAs (1+ year) and Home Health Aides/Uncertified Caregivers (2+ years). To join our team, you must possess a current CNA certificate or be a Home Health Aide/PCA. All candidates must provide a CPR and First Aid card, Photo ID, Physical, Social Security number, PPD test results, and a background check. Once hired, you will participate in ongoing professional development to maintain your skills and support the growth of your colleagues.
