Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a high-commitment, center-based ABA Therapy program. Rooted in the evidence that early, high-intensive ABA Therapy leads to the greatest potential reached by children on the autism spectrum, we specialize in providing services to young children.
As leading experts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our highly-trained clinicians develop individualized, one-on-one programs that help children break down routine tasks into manageable steps. This type of therapy helps children with autism improve communication ability, daily living skills, and the social behaviors necessary to thrive in school, at home, and in their community.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be on the front lines of our mission, providing direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings. Your day will involve utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training to support children's growth. You will follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols outlined in each client's individualized treatment plan.
Beyond direct therapy, you will play a key role in the support network by assisting with parent and caregiver training and effectively communicating client progress. You will be responsible for collecting, recording, and summarizing data on observable client behavior, ensuring all documentation is completed on time and following established procedures. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment is essential to your daily responsibilities.
