About Micron Technology

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. As a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions, Micron accelerates the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate, and advance faster than ever.

About the Role

Micron's Registered Apprenticeship Program offers a unique "earn and learn" model, combining on-the-job training with classroom education to help you launch a long-term career in semiconductor manufacturing. Based in our world-class Technology Development Fab in Boise, Idaho, you will be placed into one of two distinct technician pathways based on your interests and strengths:

  • Equipment Technician Apprentice: Focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment.
  • Process Technician Apprentice: Focus on monitoring production flow, improving efficiency, and supporting manufacturing operations.

This program is designed for individuals who enjoy working with technology, solving problems, and understanding how systems and processes work together. You will partner with production, engineering, and technician teams to support daily fab operations, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

What You'll Gain

Participating in this program allows you to earn a U.S. Department of Labor–recognized credential while gaining valuable hands-on experience. You will pursue and complete an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in STEM-focused Manufacturing Technology or Advanced Mechatronics Technology (AMET) through the College of Western Idaho. Upon completion, you will have a clear pathway for career growth and advancement within Micron's technician and engineering organizations.

Hiring Process & Application

To apply, please visit the official Micron careers website. Candidates are encouraged to use AI tools to enhance their resume and application materials, provided all information is accurate and reflects true skills and experiences. Misuse of AI to fabricate qualifications will result in immediate disqualification.

Micron is committed to a fair and accessible hiring process. If you require assistance with the application process or need reasonable accommodations, please contact Micron's People Organization at hrsupport_na@micron.com or 1-800-336-8918 (select option #3).
