Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a high-commitment, center-based ABA Therapy program. Rooted in the evidence that early, high-intensive ABA Therapy leads to the greatest potential reached by children on the autism spectrum, we specialize in providing services to young children.
As leading experts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our highly-trained clinicians develop individualized, one-on-one programs that help children break down routine tasks into manageable steps. This type of therapy helps children with autism improve communication ability, daily living skills, and the social behaviors necessary to thrive in school, at home, and in their community.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be the frontline of our mission, providing direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings. Your day will involve utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training to support children as they learn. You will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA/BC) to implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
Beyond direct therapy, you will play a vital role in the family's journey by assisting with parent and caregiver training. You will be the eyes and ears of the treatment team, collecting and recording data on observable client behavior and communicating progress to families. Your environment will be a safe, clean, and organized space where you can focus on the children's safety and development.
This is a full-time, in-center role operating Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, Veteran status, or disability status. We believe that a diverse team creates a better environment for the children we serve.
Candidates selected for this role will be required to participate in the company's background check process. We also look for individuals willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, as well as an annual tuberculosis (TB) test, to ensure the highest standards of safety for our clients.
