Life Skills Autism Academy is dedicated to the development of children on the Autism Spectrum. Our team provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy in 1:1 and group settings, working under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts to increase critical developmental skills in language, communication, social interaction, and school readiness.
As a Behavior Technician, you will be the frontline partner in a child's growth journey. You will provide direct client care using a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training. Your day will involve following prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and reduction protocols, collecting precise data on observable behaviors, and assisting with parent and caregiver training. Success in this role requires patience, emotional control, and a positive drive to help children acquire new skills, all while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or be willing to complete a 40-hour training course and sit for the competency exam within 45 days of employment. Selected candidates must be willing to participate in a background check process. Additionally, successful hires must obtain CPR and First Aid certification and provide proof of a recent TB test if applicable.
