About the Role
This position is designed for experienced CDL drivers who love the trucking life but are ready to transition off the road to train the next generation of drivers. You will serve as a Driving Instructor, utilizing your practical experience to teach basic, advanced, and specialized tractor-trailer training. No prior teaching experience is required, as you will be trained to deliver our industry-standard curriculum.
In this role, you will communicate instructions to students, assess their performance, and provide guidance on performing maneuvers both on the skills driving range and on public roads. You will work 4 to 12-hour shifts, ensuring that students not only learn the principles and practices of safe truck driving but also master all laws and regulations covering interstate operations. Your performance will be evaluated on professionalism, respect, motivation, maturity, and a commitment to safety.
