About the Role
The Residential Driver is the face of our service, responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously delivering waste removal services to our customers. You will be the backbone of our operations, collecting solid waste and recyclables from curbside and backdoor locations, and transporting them to post-collection facilities. This role is about more than just driving; it is about maintaining the integrity of our routes, ensuring safety compliance, and fostering positive relationships with the public you serve daily.
As a driver, you will operate rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load trucks along designated routes. Your day involves maneuvering through tight spaces, utilizing mirrors and GPS to navigate service addresses, and ensuring that all company policies and safety standards are met. You will interact with customers to answer questions and address requests, while also performing essential pre- and post-trip inspections to keep our fleet in top condition.
