About the Role

The Residential Driver is responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. You will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transport them to post-collection facilities. This role is vital to our mission of keeping neighborhoods clean and safe while delivering exceptional service to the public.

As a member of Team Green, you will operate rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load trucks along designated routes. Your day involves maneuvering the truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces, utilizing mirrors to back up, and using a key map and GPS to locate service addresses. You will interact courteously with customers and the general public, answering questions and responding to requests. Additionally, you will assist in loading solid waste into the truck hopper, operate mechanical packers to compact trash, and ensure the customer site remains clean after dumping.
