About the Role

The Residential Driver is responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. You will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transport them to post-collection facilities. This role is vital to our mission of sustainability, ensuring that communities remain clean and safe while you operate heavy machinery and interact with the public.

As a driver, you will navigate designated routes, maneuvering trucks into tight spaces and operating mechanical packers to compact trash. Your day involves not only driving but also maintaining high safety standards, performing vehicle inspections, and serving as the face of GFL by answering customer questions and responding to requests with courtesy.
