About the Role
The Residential Driver is the face of GFL in the communities we serve. This role is about more than just driving a truck; it is about safely and efficiently providing waste removal services while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. You will be responsible for collecting solid waste and recyclables from curbside and backdoor locations, transporting them to post-collection facilities, and ensuring the integrity of the route.
Your day involves maneuvering rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load trucks through various residential environments. You will work in partnership with helpers to load waste, operate mechanical packers, and ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed. Beyond the mechanics of the job, you will interact directly with customers, answering questions and responding to requests, while maintaining the cleanliness of the customer site and surrounding roads.

Requirements
