About the Role

The Residential Driver is the face of our service, responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously delivering waste removal services to our customers. You will operate rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load trucks along designated routes, collecting solid waste and recyclables from curbside or backdoor locations. Your day involves transporting these materials to post-collection facilities while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Beyond driving, you will be the primary point of contact for residents along your route. You will interact with the public to answer questions, respond to requests, and maintain a positive relationship with our community. The role requires a keen eye for detail, from spotting loose debris and ensuring customer sites remain clean to recognizing unacceptable waste materials. You will also play a key role in safety compliance, assisting helpers with loading operations, performing daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate DOT logbooks.
