About the Role

The Residential Driver is the face of GFL in the community, responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services. You will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transport them to post-collection facilities. This role is vital to our mission of sustainability, ensuring that every customer receives reliable service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

As a Residential Driver, you will operate residential, recycling, side-load, and/or rear-load trucks, managing ancillary equipment and hydraulic systems to collect waste. You will be expected to maintain route quality standards, manage assigned helpers if applicable, and work closely with supervisors to improve routing efficiencies. Your professional demeanor and appearance will reflect the company's commitment to excellence as you interact with customers and the general public daily.
