About the Role
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be a vital link in our operations, responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers to transport goods to designated locations. This role demands a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and strict compliance with all DOT/OSHA regulations.
You will work as part of a team that values reliability and precision. Your day will involve performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers. A key part of your mission is to secure cargo properly and ensure load safety at all times, upholding the company's rigorous safety policies and housekeeping standards.
