As a Class A Commercial Driver, you will be the face of our company, delivering essential packaging solutions to our customers. This role involves operating a company tractor and trailer on routes typically consisting of 4-10 stops. Your day will require more than just driving; you will be responsible for unloading via lift gate with a pallet jack and transporting palletized products directly into customer locations.
You will serve as a key link in our supply chain, ensuring orders are delivered in good condition and in full. Success in this position relies on providing outstanding customer service, communicating effectively with operations staff regarding any concerns, and maintaining strict adherence to all state and federal regulations using ELD systems.
This position is based in Bellingham, MA, operating on a Monday through Friday schedule with a 5:00 AM start time. The role offers a consistent routine with an average 10-hour day and the guarantee of being home every night. Please note that any hours worked over 8 per day are considered overtime.
The work environment can be moderate to noisy and often requires working in severe weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to sit and drive for up to 10 hours and lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
