The CDL Driver Boom Crane role is central to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of wall panels, trusses, and other critical materials to job sites and other locations. This position goes beyond simple driving; it involves the precise operation of specialized equipment such as articulated booms, knuckle booms, conveyors, and cable-over-sheave systems. Drivers act as the face of the company on active construction sites and completed builds, delivering materials with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of a delivery, from organizing and securing loads to verifying orders for accuracy before departure and upon arrival. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the truck, performing thorough pre- and post-trip DOT inspections, and keeping accurate logs of driving hours and rest periods. The position also includes assisting with warehouse stocking, handling returned merchandise, and supervising associates involved in the scope of operation when necessary.

3+ years of CDL experience. Experience operating boom trucks and truck-mounted cranes. Experience with load charts, rigging practices, and weight distribution for safe crane operation. Certified Drill Rig Operator-NCCCO Boom Certification or other active accredited certifications (e.g., NCCCO, NCCER, CIC).
Skills: Nccco Boom Certification, Nccer, Cic, Class A Commercial Vehicles, Class B Commercial Vehicles, Dot Inspections, Knuckle Booms, Articulated Booms, Conveyors, Cable-Over-Sheave Systems.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
