The CDL Driver Boom Crane role is central to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of wall panels, trusses, and other critical materials to job sites and locations throughout the region. This position goes beyond simple driving; it involves the precise operation of specialized equipment such as articulated booms, knuckle booms, conveyors, and cable-over-sheave systems to load and unload materials with care. Drivers act as the face of the company on the road, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining strict adherence to federal safety regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
In this role, you will manage the entire lifecycle of a delivery, from organizing and securing loads to verifying order accuracy and performing thorough pre- and post-trip DOT inspections. The day-to-day involves maneuvering truck-mounted forklifts and boom cranes to handle lumber and building materials, maintaining accurate logs, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the vehicle. You will also collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to support inventory stocking and assist in the handling of returned merchandise.

3+ years of CDL experience. Experience operating boom trucks and truck-mounted cranes. Experience with load charts, rigging practices, and weight distribution for safe crane operation. Certified Drill Rig Operator-NCCCO Boom Certification or other active accredited certifications (e.g., NCCCO, NCCER, CIC).
