As a CDL Driver 1, you will be the backbone of our agricultural operations, driving tractor-trailer combinations or heavy trucks (26,001+ GVW) to deliver essential liquids, dry mixes, seed, NH3, and grain. Your mission extends beyond transportation; you are responsible for loading agricultural products into trucks, customer vehicles, and shuttles while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. By optimizing market share and savings, you directly contribute to the company's goals and provide outstanding customer service to our farming community.
Your day involves a blend of skilled driving, equipment maintenance, and customer interaction. A key part of your role is mixing agronomy products to meet quality standards and managing inventory needs. You will serve as the face of the company, greeting customers with a friendly demeanor, resolving complaints, and educating them on safe product handling. Whether working independently or collaborating with Strategic Account Managers, you will maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude that fosters a favorable company image.
This role requires adaptability to diverse conditions, working both inside a climate-controlled office and outside in varying weather, from hot summers to cold winters.
