About the Role
As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you are the face of PODS at the customer's doorstep. Your primary mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and incident-free delivery and pickup of moving containers. This role goes beyond simply driving a truck; it requires maintaining excellent rapport with customers while handling their belongings with care.
You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites. Your day involves coordinating rental paperwork and payments, verifying deliveries via handheld computers, and ensuring containers are clean and presentable before handover. You will also perform necessary field repairs on containers and lifts, maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, and serve as a backup for storage center functions when needed.
