About the Role
As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of moving containers. This role is essential to ensuring customers have a seamless moving experience, combining operational precision with excellent customer rapport.
You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers, performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain safety standards. Beyond driving, you will coordinate rental paperwork, handle payments, and communicate directly with customers to resolve questions or issues. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of the truck and containers, performing minor field repairs, and providing backup support for storage center functions when needed.
