About the Role
As a Part-Time Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe delivery and pickup of storage containers. This role is essential to ensuring a seamless experience for our clients, combining operational precision with excellent customer rapport. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers, while also managing on-site paperwork and coordinating with customers to resolve any questions or issues.
Your day involves more than just driving; you will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain the cleanliness of your vehicle and containers, and handle field repairs when necessary. Whether coordinating add-on deliveries or providing backup support for storage center functions, you play a critical part in keeping our logistics moving efficiently.
