About the Role
As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of moving containers. This role is essential to ensuring customers receive their storage solutions without disruption, maintaining a positive rapport while handling logistics on the road.
You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers, performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Beyond driving, you will coordinate rental paperwork, handle payments, and communicate directly with customers to resolve questions or issues. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of the truck cab and containers, performing minor field repairs, and utilizing handheld computers for delivery verification and navigation.
