About the Role
As a Part-Time Delivery Driver, you are the face of PODS at customer locations. Your primary mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and incident-free delivery and pickup of storage containers. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, handling everything from loading and unloading to coordinating rental paperwork and payments directly with clients. This role is essential for maintaining excellent rapport with customers while ensuring the integrity and cleanliness of our equipment.
You will work closely with the Driver Lead or Market Manager to resolve customer inquiries and may be called upon to perform field repairs on containers and lifts. The position also involves coordinating backup support for storage center functions when business needs arise. Success in this role requires a blend of mechanical aptitude, strong math skills for documentation, and the ability to navigate using company handheld computers.
