As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in PODS's mission to make moving and storage accessible and convenient. You will be responsible for the safe delivery and pickup of containers directly to and from customer locations. This role is designed for individuals who take pride in providing excellent customer service while operating specialized equipment to ensure an incident-free experience for every client.
Your day involves driving a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers safely. Beyond driving, you will interact directly with customers to coordinate rental paperwork and payments, ensuring a smooth transaction. You will also maintain the condition of the containers and the truck cab, performing necessary inspections and minor repairs in the field to keep operations running smoothly.
