About the Team

TeamQRT Group has been delivering Thomas Built School Buses since 1980. We operate as an Over-The-Road (OTR) bus transport company that distinguishes itself through a unique group driving model. Unlike traditional driveaway operations, our drivers travel in coordinated groups of 3–5, with one driver per vehicle, delivering buses from our hub in High Point, NC, to various locations across the U.S. and Canada.

We pride ourselves on being a non-forced dispatch company, offering drivers the flexibility to choose when they want to drive. This collaborative environment requires drivers to work closely as a team, sharing responsibilities and checking in with a Lead Driver before every trip departs.

About the Role

This is an Independent Contractor position focused on transporting new school buses. Drivers will operate Class A or B vehicles, navigating multi-day trips that depend on specific delivery locations. The role demands a high level of professionalism and punctuality, as drivers must be on time for both pick-up and drop-off locations.

A typical day involves coordinating with your group, managing vehicle conditions during transport, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately for payout. Drivers are responsible for the condition of the vehicles they transport and must maintain accurate daily logs using the MOTIVE app. While the work is OTR, the group dynamic ensures that drivers are never alone on the road, fostering a supportive team atmosphere.

Hiring Process & Application

To join the team, candidates must attend an in-person onboarding session in High Point, NC. The application process requires a local road test and verification of driving history. Applicants with a completed SAP program must be at least 7 years clear of completion to be considered. Additionally, any accidents reported within the last 3 years must be supported by an accident report before the application can be processed.

Once hired, drivers must commit to taking at least one trip per month to remain active. We offer same-day pay for qualified drivers who submit accurate paperwork on time and maintain a clean record during transport.
