About the Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of US Foods on the road. You will safely drive trucks to customers, ensuring scheduled delivery times are met. Your day involves carefully unloading products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and placing them in designated customer storage areas. You will verify delivery accuracy, obtain proper signatures, and handle collections when applicable. Additionally, you will perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

This role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively. You must be comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops throughout each shift.

Hiring Process & Application

To apply, candidates must meet specific Department of Transportation requirements. All drivers are required to register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a secure online database that provides real-time information about CDL and CLP holders' drug and alcohol program violations. If you have not yet registered, you must visit the FMCSA website to complete this step before proceeding.

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid CDL Class A issued by their state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry is required. Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is essential to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
