About the Role
Launch your driving career as a CDL-A Trainee. This role is designed for individuals ready to learn the fundamentals of professional trucking under the direct mentorship of experienced McLane drivers. You will operate modern equipment, mastering safe operation techniques, DOT compliance, and freight handling protocols.
Your day will involve working alongside seasoned professionals to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logbooks, and handle freight including unloading and order verification. Beyond the road, you will provide courteous, professional service at every customer stop, maintaining clean equipment and reporting maintenance needs promptly. The ultimate goal of this position is to progress through ongoing training to achieve solo CDL-A driver status.
Hiring Process
