About the Role
This entry-level position is designed for individuals ready to train alongside experienced drivers to obtain their CDL-A license. You will master safe driving practices, DOT regulations, and the nuances of real-world route operations. Your day will involve assisting with loading and unloading freight, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. As a Trainee, you will represent McLane professionally while supporting the team in delivering goods efficiently.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess a CDL-A permit and be eligible to obtain a full CDL-A license. The selection process includes verifying a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), obtaining a DOT Medical Card, and successfully passing a DOT drug screen and road test.
