About the Role
As a CDL A Truck Driver Trainee, you will launch your driving career by training alongside experienced professional drivers on local and regional routes. This role is designed for individuals ready to progress from trainee to professional driver, offering stable, full-time work with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
You will learn the safe operation of late-model equipment, mastering accurate loading and unloading techniques while strictly adhering to FMCSA/DOT compliance. Your day-to-day will involve assisting with freight handling, performing required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and utilizing electronic logs and handheld systems to track routes and deliveries. Beyond the road, you will participate in a blend of classroom and behind-the-wheel training to earn your CDL A license. Throughout this journey, you will provide professional, courteous service at customer locations and support team operations as needed, all while working toward the goal of getting home safely and more often.
