About the Role

As a CDL-A Dedicated Flatbed Regional Driver for Division 225 based in Fresno, CA, you will operate on dedicated regional routes in the western region of America. This role involves transporting critical materials and requires the physical ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, as flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of our loads.

You will drive the newest flatbed trucks, which are meticulously maintained and equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, including lane departure and forward collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Our commitment to your safety ensures that no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road.

Life on the Road

This position offers a dedicated regional schedule with home time typically consisting of 2-3 weeks out followed by 2-3 days at home. While System Transport does not allow pets, riders aged 7 and up are permitted after 90 days of safe driving. Drivers have access to an award-winning app built by drivers for drivers, providing 24/7 support, real-time trip updates, pay access, and communication tools.

Hiring Process & Application

To join our team, you must meet specific safety and experience qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, being 21 years of age or older, and maintaining a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years. A background check, clean drug test, and clean Clearinghouse result are required. Additionally, all candidates must pass a physical test for tarping during orientation.

We support new hires with a $1,800 transition package, which includes $1,000 allocated for orientation over the first two weeks to allow you to focus on driving.
