About the Role

We are seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional routes out of our Kansas City, MO terminal (Division 290). As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting critical materials across the western region of America. This role offers a unique opportunity to become "America Proud, Flatbed Strong" while enjoying a schedule that includes time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset.

The work involves securing loads, which requires the physical ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. Flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of our loads. You will drive a fleet of modern, meticulously maintained flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, including lane departure and forward collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices.

A Note on Experience

While we prioritize experienced drivers, we are currently accepting applications from recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Qualified applicants with a valid CDL-A license may have the opportunity to receive training and start their driving career with us during this special period.

Your safety is paramount to us. Every tractor is rigorously maintained and will not go out until it is 100% ready for the road. We provide 24/7/365 road service staff and shops to support you. Additionally, our award-winning Driver Portal app, built by drivers for drivers, offers real-time updates, pay access, trip data, and direct communication with support staff.

Hiring Process and Application

To join our team, applicants must meet standard hiring requirements, including a valid Class A CDL, being 21 years of age or older, and maintaining a safe driving record. We also require a background check, a clean drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse result. For flatbed positions, candidates must pass a physical test demonstrating the ability to handle tarping duties.

We understand that changing jobs is never easy. To support your transition, we offer a $1,800 Transition Package, with $1,000 allotted for orientation during your first two weeks. This allows you to focus on driving while we handle the rest.
